This curriculum outlines basic, minimum requirements. Upon successful completion as instructed by an authorized instructor, you MAY qualify to test for the rank of Yudansha (black belt) in Kosho Shorei Ryu Kempo. Given the extensive requirements listed herein related to locking and throwing, the practitioner MAY also qualify to test for the rank of Yudansha in Jiu-Jitsu with the Canadian Jiu-Jitsu Council. Please understand that completion of the requirements outlined herein does not automatically qualify you as a black belt, nor does it guarantee testing or promotion. Due to the evolving nature and study of martial arts, this curriculum is intended to be a work in progress and may be changed at anytime.
