Leonard Brandt Cole (1918-1995) is considered one of the premier comic book artists of the Golden Age Ð but his work in comics went far beyond the pen and ink. He operated a comics studio which provided comics stories and issues for many Golden Age companies 1942-1948, operate his own Star Publications from 1949-1955 and was an editor and art director for Dell Publications in the 1960s and 1970s. His influence could not be overstated, but it was his artwork Ð his bold ÒposterÓ colors and creative drive for which he is celebrated today. Here we have over 250 pages of L.B.
