Leader Mason has always wanted to live up to his name and be a great person, like Jesus or Gandhi or Mother Teresa. But now he's stuck living in The House--an old three-story in small town New England--with three fellow up-and-coming photographers. All he wants is a well-paid photography job, and he's been working hard enough to get them. But what does heart and effort matter when talent isn't there? He isn't artistic like Kim, good with technology like Mannelli, or clever like Santiago. He doesn't have anything going for him but his name.
Mr. Moreau, the mentor of the four younger photographers and owner of The House, suddenly arrives with dire news--his long estranged wife wants a divorce. Will the four still be about to live in The House? How will this impact Leader and his neverending quest to find a job?
Follow one day in the life of Leader Mason as he remembers his past, mourns his monotonous present, and dreams of the bright future where he is the well-respected hero, maybe even a true leader.
