In the 1970's, Glenda met the love of her life, Michael, a sergeant in the Air force. She left her family and all that was familiar, to fly to Italy to marry him. For six years they lived in Italy and Germany during the Cold War. Those years were filled with adventure and new experiences as well as hardship and homesickness as they experienced the magic of Europe together.
