When Tom AtwoodÕs grandchildren were born, he began writing a series of letters addressed to them, in the hopes that one day he could help them learn where they came from, and who their grandfather was.
From humble origins in the oil fields of West Texas, to the all-consuming culture of small-town Texas football, to the colorful characters from his career as a hospice social worker, Mr. Atwood infuses his stories with wit and wisdom.
Along the way, he introduces us to the special people in his life who inspired him to reach higher.
His letters are always signed with the same message:
ÒLife is Good, God Bless Texas.Ó
