Derek Gordon is the new kid at Brooks High School, as his first days come along, he has just 2 friends and he is getting bullied by a gang of jocks. But then football tryouts come his way, and there he shines brighter than anybody else. Football was life for him, but what got in his way were his academics. And coach said that if you donÕt have good grades, you would be kicked off the team. Can Derek go through the year surviving the two problems that were academics and bullying? And when the big time comes, will he be ready to make it big time? Or will he screw everything up?
