This is the story of a young,inexperienced,engineer who was sent into the northern Ontario bush in 1960, to provide engineering service to the construction forces building the first of three generating stations on the Mattagami River. For the first six months he lived in a tent while the dormitories and colony were being built. It relates the many fun times he had while gaining experience from the skilled supervisors.
