LIVE BRAVE: A Tribute To Laura Middleton features the memorial tribute that I wrote for LauraÑmy steadfast friend of 35 years and my partner for the last 3_ years of her lifeÑon April 1, 2018, Easter Sunday. I titled the tribute ÒLive BraveÓ and started writing at the stroke of midnight. I wrote till the sun came up.
The book, which includes additional commentary and photos, also serves as a threshold to another tribute to Laura that I hope to createÑa building: an architectural monument. I've given it a name.

I envision this memorial as an artistic expression of my love for LauraÑand her love for me: our love storyÑand a tribute to star-crossed lovers throughout space and time. I foresee this memorial speaking to everyone, from LauraÕs friends and family to strangers down through the ages. A poetic reminder in concrete, steel, and stoneÑspace and lightÑto follow LauraÕs shining-star example and Live Brave.
