This is our story how we have brought up our son for the first 16 years with ADHD & AspergerÕs Syndrome. We had to fight his doctors and the LEA because of a hospital cover up at his birth. We got a private second opinion and had to start all over again. It took seven years to get him properly diagnosed, until everyone agreed ADHD and AspergerÕs Syndrome existed in our sonÕs life. With his diagnosis came a mind blowing discovery about our son, he had other problems, dyslexia in words & numbers and it didnÕt stop there.
We have fought and stood up to Hospital Consultants and Managers and the LEA who put money ahead of truth and feelings. If we can do it, so can you: we hope our story gives you the inspiration to stand up for your childÕs rights. If you bang on enough doors, finally, someone somewhere will listen to what you have to say.
DonÕt ever give up! Your child's life and the way he/she grows up and is seen by society will depend on your actions and your strength. Please, donÕt let your child down!
