For the past twelve years I have been living with OCD and fighting back. I decided to write about my experiences of living with OCD in the hope that I could help someone else with the disorder. I also wanted to help family members and friends of people with the illness better understand what happens to someone whilst trying to recover. In this book I share many bizarre incidents that happened to me while I was trying to understand what was wrong with me. This book shows the emotions and frustrations that go hand in hand with this disorder, as it cannot be physically seen that the sufferer is ill. This is not a medical manual, just a brief account of how the illness affected me and how I tried to come to terms with it.
