Phyllis Pilisuk is a poet, born in New York City, and living in Berkeley, California
since 1967. Several of her works have
appeared in such anthologies as Bay Area Poets Coalition, Across the Generations, Landmarks and Landings, and Woman Seed. Her first book of poetry, Images of a Woman, was published in 1986. This collection, Looking for Your Path, reflects upon the magic vitality of nature, her disillusionment with the politics of inequality and finally, upon finding her voice through poetry.
