This diary records the day by day flow of life at Lord Wandsworth College during the seven years 1953-1960, as the author perceived it as a First Former through to the Upper Sixth. It conveys the ordinary routine of daily living half a century ago. The blend of some significant events and much inconsequential detail gives an insight into a schoolboyÕs concerns and activities. There are no long-term perspectives or wide-ranging philosophies; this is simply the natural short-sighted focus of one day following another.
In addition to the diary entries, there are also a 25-page introductory section about life at the school, and a Postscript.
