Inspired by Aram Saroyan's poetry and photography, Lovebug explores the limits of expectations and sensory experiences while reflecting upon what it feels like to be overwhelmed and oversaturated. Lovebug follows Lucy Everybody on one extraordinarily ordinary evening, when she sets out to walk her dog and finds herself more centered and aware of her surroundings than usual. An exercise in free association between text and images, Lovebug uses Saroyan's work as a framework to understandÑor at least, work throughÑfeelings of anxiety, uncertainty, and acceptance.
