Henrietta Thompson Moorehead sits in her motherÕs parlor, recuperating from a recent bout of illness and reflecting on her mad dash to capture the attention of the local playboy and her brotherÕs best friend, Will Moorehead. Henrietta will have to convince her brother, as well as her folks, that Will is an acceptable catch for her.
