Joe King is the author & artist of this new series of street scenes.
As a youth he criss-crossed the country many times between his parents shallow-rooted
homes, gaining along the way an enduring sense of America
and a deep affection for the humble folks who serve her, especially in small towns.
This then, is our home town: the corner bar, the neighborhood drug store & barber shop,
our favorite diner, hardware and fish markets, the old-timey cinema;
where you work, your kids play- perhaps a chapel where your neighbors pray.
