Found in this volume are the collected works of Maine students who participated and received regional recognition for their participation in The Scholastic Writing Awards. Maine has a talented pool of young writers and dedicated teachers, who encourage their students to pursue their creative abilities, and in the ensuing pages these emerging writersÕ voices are heard.
