Found in this volume are the collected works of Maine students who participated and received regional recognition for their participation in the Scholastic Writing Awards. Maine has a talented pool of young writers and dedicated teachers who encourage their students to pursue their creative abilities, and in the ensuing pages these emerging writersÕ voices are heard. These pieces of writing are inspiring, moving, uplifting, and entertaining. This publication is a celebration of their work.
