Fr. Mullady uses the works of Fr. Quintin Turiel in the first four chapters of this work to clarify the teaching of St. Thomas Aquinas on the Thomistic problem: the Natural Desire to see God He then applies this generally to the doctrine of grace and Christian culture. In this examination he seeks to offer a novel solution to a famous problem in Thomistic theology which has great influence of the ideas developed before, during and after Vatican II.
