This book provides details and a mapping of early property holdings of William Langston Lewis and of related families in land that is currently contained in Rockingham County, North Carolina, immediately north of the Dan River and east of the Mayo River. The area was a part of Rowan County until 1771 when Guilford County was created, and became a part of Rockingham County when it was formed in 1785.
