Marta Zinzillia and her family have to rush away late at night to aid Aunt Hopper with some unexpected danger near the lake. On arriving, Marta finds herself at the center of an adventure that she doesn't want and doesn't understand. With her mother kidnapped, her father in another world somewhere far underground, and her aunt only giving her half the story, Marta has to rely on her wits and her brother's magic powers to bring her life back to normal.
