1975 marked our arrival in Saudi Arabia and the beginning of a 19-year adventure. Working for Saudi Aramco offered travel opportunities within the country that no tourist was ever able to experience at that time. We saw the desert fluorish after the rain, we munched on dates nus wa nus (half ripe, half green) and we sampled the delicate Saudi white truffles. Along the way we made friendships that lasted a life-time. We treasure these memories to this day.
