A "Jewelry Challenge" competition between members of the Metal Arts Society of Southern California (MASSC), to create a wearable piece of jewelry using, at a minimum, all components found in a "surprise" box of materials. This book presents all of the competition entries, and showcases the winning designs. It also provides a brief statement from each artist/metalsmith.
