The MIAD Green Studio is a class devoted to architectural design based on the three E's of ecology, energy efficiency and social equity. Students are challenged to manifest the culture and mission of a real world client and to practice sustainable design in a cost effective and imaginative way. This book showcases the 2011 Green Studio Project for Iglesia Apostolica el Alfarero where MIAD students designed a new worship space for the small Harambee congregation using community-based design strategies and sustainable building techniques.
