We have to take money seriously, as it doesn't grow on trees. Excessive personal debt is a serious problem for many people, affecting their lives in a very damaging way, but government debt is also a major blight on society that affects us all. The current situation in the UK was unsustainable even before the issue of leaving the EU became imminent. Now, coupled with this, the author believes a very damaging cocktail is brewing that will lead to economic collapse and widespread social deprivation, similar to that in the 1920s and 30s, unless attitudes change and concerted action is taken to combat it. In this book the author makes some positive suggestions as to how we can go about reducing debt, both at a personal and governmental level.
