In a society marked by rapid changes in technology, where time is measured in the amount of things one can do, our brain seem to be driven by the hunger to accomplish more and more. Accustomed to the speed and effectiveness of the way we receive information, and by the ever increasing amount, it is only getting hungrier. I felt the urge to slow down, to focus on just one thing, and to get away from the screen and its distractions. I felt I could do this through transcribing with just a pen and a paper. The content of this project, the internet, is the biggest, perhaps the only source of my triggered and overloaded brain. Within the algorithm of the internet, I did personal interventions by clicking intuitively on links that fit the theme of slowing down or the opposite, themes that personally interest me, but also themes that represent the time I live in and contemporary topics online. In this way it doesnÕt only become my personal slowdown, but also a representation of our contemporary society.
