Burns Publishing, a one-man publishing house in Utica, New York. When the book finally went to press, much of the material gathered from the late Mrs. MacKenzieÕs files by editor Lee Manchester had to be put aside to keep the volume from becoming too big to print; even so, ÒThe Plains of AbrahamÓ ran to more than 400 pages in length.
