A physical soft-bound book MOS Programming Manual Ñ a book detailing programming the MCS6500 microcomputer family of chips from MOS. The MCS6500 includes the popular 8-bit 6502 processor used in the KIM-1 as well as computers and game machines by Apple, Commodore, Atari, Nintendo, the BBC Micro, etc. This is a thick book that covers the data bus, accumulator, arithmetic unit. It discusses the flags and status registers, details branching, addressing modes, stack handling, interrupts and peripheral programming. An appendix contains a complete, detailed instruction set for the 65xx processor family.

Like the Kim-1 User Manual, a digital version of this manual can be found online but if you're like me, having a physical copy is sometimes more convenient. To that end I formatted the book from the digital version and had it professionally printed and bound.

The cover from the digital version was poor so I recreated a nice cover that is patterned off the original.

This is a chance to have nice printed copy of the MOS Programming Manual to peruse or even mark up while experimenting with your 6502-based vintage computer. (241 pages.)
