Motor sport during the '60s was enjoyed by a group of young people from the north who competed at grass roots level for most of them. Others went on to great things. From rallying on the Monte to racing, hill climbs and record breaking, these people did it when they could and they enjoyed it. A wealth of anecdotes about the great and the good who crossed the path of the author over the period. Now their survivors gather each year to re-kindle those years at the now famous 'Old Farts' lunch.
