MUSLIMS IN GEORGIA: A Chronology & Oral History was compiled to serve as a convenient repository of important facts and events related to the presence of Muslims in the United States Ñ more specifically the State of Georgia.
As Islam and Muslims have been maligned and often misrepresented in the United States due in part to a lack of information, it is hoped this volume will prove valuable to researchers, students and the general public. Inshallah, we all will gain a greater insight and a better understanding of the life and times endured by God-fearing believers in Islam.
