This is a guided journal to help young people aged 8-13 years old to begin to better identify their emotions and learn how to manage their emotions in healthy ways by using coping skills. The guided journal topics aim to get young people to explore real-life scenarios as to when they have felt different emotions and how they can better cope with their emotions moving forward. We all typically identify with the basic emotions such as happiness, sadness, or anger without exploring the deeper emotions that arenÕt always easily identified. The goal is that by helping young people to recognize how superheroes experience the same emotions as them, in turn will help them to feel empowered to unlock all the great things they are capable of by using their emotions as superpowers!
