Sam and his puppy Rocco go outdoors in search of adventure. Once outside, the two encounter obstacles and challenges that they must learn to overcome. Sam learns the value of patience and while Rocco recognize he is still too small and too slow to keep up with his friend, while he learns the value of persistence.
