The autobiography of Dr. Edir Barros Siqueira (1931-2007), a neurosurgeon born in Brazil and educated in Brazil and the United States. This is an account of his early beginnings, his years studying under one of the foremost neurosurgeons of his time (Dr. Paul Bucy), his times working in a growing practice in Chicago, and his years abroad in Taiwan and Saudi Arabia, and his twilight years with the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis at the University of Miami.
