James Croft took in his grandson Jimmy Allen, raised him with his son Tom, where they grew up like brothers and not uncle/nephew. Later in life Jimmy and Tom would reminisce for hours, not only about their life on the farm, their family line, but also Jimmy wanted to hear Toms life stories.
