Introduction
My Name is Jean
I was born in a small community called Sunset, located in Utah. I spent most of my childhood in Wilson Lane, which is about five miles west of Ogden, Utah. I had a good father and mother who loved us all. I was the baby of the family having four brothers to watch over me. I was born at the end of the big depression and a few years before World War II.
I have had a good life, full of wonderful memories. I married a good man and we were together thirty-four years before he passed away. We had seven children and I now have twenty-four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Through the years, when inspired, I liked to write poems showing how I felt about the ones I love.
I love meaningful poems and have collected a few favorite ones along the way.
