This small book is the result of my desire to keep something of the Western Pennsylvania Mesta family history alive.
After my parentsÕ death several years ago, I had the growing conviction that our oral and recorded history was quickly slipping away. I had in my possession a collection of old family pictures, scrapbooks and other written materialsÑvery disorganized, but valuable. It was time to get busy and try to get this all into book form. Here it is.
I encourage you to read and contemplate ÒMy Mesta Family StoryÓ and use it as a springboard to help enliven the Mesta history for this and future generations.
