Henry Muller's autobiography reveals both a remarkable family history and a remarkable man. Born in 1905, Henry experienced both the good years of Mennonite life in pre-Revolutionary Russia, and the challenging years of persecution and extreme hunger that followed in the 1920s. After escaping Russia in 1930, Henry, Olga, and their daughter, Rita, arrived in Manitoba, but Within a year, the family relocated to the Fraser Valley in British Columbia, where Henry became an accomplished builder. Henry was involved in many construction projects, but none likely more important than the MEI in Clearbrook in 1948. Music had been central to his early life, as it became in his own family life. HenryÕs love for music led to 27 years of children's music ministry in a number of churches they attended. Henry is remembered as a man of compassion and integrity; a man with vision and character; and a man with a child-like trust in his heavenly Father.
