This research investigates the emerging human-centered, anti-hierarchical, participatory western processes of social design and how it might translate to the cultural contexts and constraints of more traditional cultures of the east, particularly Saudi Arabia. It is a complex system which we understand from both a personal and cultural perspective and we have identified a need for a philosophy that translates these processes into a subtle, respectful, and interdependent model of design practice which leverages the cultural constraints and values the societal boundaries.
In this research you will unravel the process and reasons of renaming Design for Change to Design for Incremental Mindshifts.
