After yet another weekly, torturous hair session, where NaimahÕs mother wrangles her unruly curls, Naimah decides to straighten her hair herself, which was a huge disaster! That night, Naimah cries herself to sleep, wishing for one thing, straight hair.
When Naimah opens her eyes, she looks around and discovers that instead of her bed, she is lying on rows of thick, brown hair surrounded by huge towers of hair coiled up to the sky. This will be only her first of three hair adventures!
Naimah will jump on afro puffs! Moonwalk on Bantu knots which causes them to unravel into waves of hair! Roller skate through corn braids, as they intertwine! We will follow Naimah on her hair journey as she learns about its uniqueness and versatility all the while celebrating the magic of a Black girl's hair!
