Napa County Reads, now in its 11th year, is a coalition of educators and community members dedicated to helping Napa Valley children connect to reading. Each year we select a book to be read in classrooms throughout the valley, followed by an author visit and community event.
This year our theme is the immigration experience across time and place, as experienced in food, art and literature. Students also participated in a ÒHeritage Cooking CompetitionÓ and their award winning dishes and family stories are featured in this book. Enjoy!
