Neither Rashly Nor Timidly is an exploration into the complicated relationship between progress and preservation as viewed through the lens of family conflict. When rapid gentrification threatens an historic plot in coastal Maine, neighboring siblings clash over a controversial proposition to modernize the property. Woven together into a fluid dialogue, their interviews show a family struggling between their allegiance to past and future generations.
