New West Kowloon Cultural District was a master-level urban design studio for investigating people and culture in Hong Kong in the Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering at City University of Hong Kong. Students were asked to consider interdisciplinary contexts in the discipline of urban design and planning and propose an urban design and planning idea by creative and critical approaches.
This book is part of urban design series in the Laboratory of Architectural and Urban Design. Although suggested proposals are conceptual ideas, these innovative and creative ideas will be a foundation and reference for students and people who would like to identify essential elements in urban design and new development.
