From cold winters and rare summer weeks of freedom on her Uncle's farm to a restricted adolescence with an overbearing father in Tuscon, Judy's only way out was marriage. This led to becoming the proud mother of two boys and living in Denver, New Zealand, Berkeley in the wild 1970s, Menlo Park, and Oakland, California. It was in later life that she finally could complete her coveted college degree, attending at the same time as one of her sons. This began a treasured career in the medical field, life single and independent, running marathons, painting, cooking, traveling, and above all, spending time with the family she loves.
