TCRÕs ÒNovel Bible ClassÓ curriculum for young people of all ages seeks to fill traditional Bible Study, Sunday school, and Language Arts home school class work with the joy gained from pleasure reading. Our studies are crafted around exciting novels, short stories, plays, and poems that are reading-level specific and lend themselves to the serious study of GodÕs word.
The Novel Bible Class curriculum encourages a probing, nuanced engagement with literature that seeks to inspire an enlivening experience with literature that is not beholden to common core standards or similar skill-based studies. Our classes strive to develop studentsÕ literary comprehension skills in ways that help students meet standardized test measurements, but we do so by teaching true literary analysis. This curriculum also interweaves challenging contemporary issues that urge teens to consider their faith in terms of their daily walk as believers.
