The story begins when two university professors, one a world-renowned, quirky female archeologist and the other a brilliant, comic book reading, male astrophysicist-also employed by NASAÕs Jet Propulsion Lab on campus-combine talents to search for a mythological artifact. Unknown to the professors, two thousand years ago a fledgling King from a lost civilization put together a team of scientist, including his most knowledgeable astronomer, to hunt for the same phenomenal object.
The chapters precisely alternate between the modern day and the ancient times as both teams, two thousand years apart, frantically look for clues that might lead them to their goal.
