The 50th anniversary of the creation of Classical Radio from National Radio of Spain (RNE) in 2015 led me to the idea of writing a tribute to this station so dear to me forever. At its inception in 1965 was born as second program of RNE, and from 1981 to 1984 "Radio 2" was named, to finally move to "Radio Cl‡sica". Then I got the idea of using the name "Radio 2" to build a piano piece titled ÒOidaRadio 2Ó (ÒHearRadio 2Ó), a prelude and fugue, and the fact is that the word "radio", retrograded offers a second word, "oida(r)" (ÒheardÓ) that together, and sharing the "r" produced the title of the work. This palindrome offered me the opportunity to bring to music these 5 letters "r-a-d-i-o".
The work is dedicated to professionals Classical Radio on its 50th Anniversary.
