Music has taken on many forms since the introduction of the long playing record back in 1926. Obviously the format lent to a mainstream way of distributing music to more easily affect the emotional being of listeners in their own homes, and to their benefit.
Here, authors Glen Birdsall ("36 Chambers of the Taoist") and Paul Counelis ("Marshall's Gully") have attempted to comment on the phenomenal journey of musical artistry across the decades by weaving their own personal experiences into many slivers of insight, wit and poignancy, the hope being to entertain as well as enrich.
