Octogenarian Tony Stoneburner is a retired academic-clergyperson.
OOO&XXX, a third collection, is a clutch of three dozen poems, written mostly after he moved to the Twin Cities in 2002. Some poems respond to birth, death, lifework, nuptial, ordination; others, small-scale, respond to the postmodern world (war, terrorism, racism, globalization, environmental-suicide), & are autobiographical &/or historical, literary, religious, in variations on traditional forms or ventures in versions of free verse.
An essay by Terry Eicher introduces the collection.
