**NOTE ** - this book has been RENAMED and removed as a ISBN book. This is NOT a new book. Formerly called NC Land Grant Entry Book - Orange Co., it is now titled more accurately. Every county in NC was required to audit their State Land Grants from 1777-1795. FOR Orange County that requires two-volumes. This is the first and covers ONLY 1778. This is a required book if you work in Orange County State Land Grants - since this audit corrects the MANY errors for Orange Co. Most of the surrounding counties (Wake, Chatham, and Caswell) didn't have any or many errors so I did not work on them - but every county is available in the NC State Archives. This book contains the original image and a transcript (Last, First for name index) as well as rivers etc. Graphs and other support information is also provided.
