The OEF is unique in its emphasis on the Virgin Mary's relationship as the New Eve and he Biblical Titles and Lifestyle which is a model and guide for the OEF. The emphasis on a penitential diet and fasting (juice or water), wholeness, health and healing is thus a key component. The emphasis on the sacraments, a community orientation, the Pilgrims progress; the nine types of Divine Office, the spiritual practices, rosary, mass and apostolic emphasis brings the OEF into a newly created body, soul and spirit; healthy, happy and holy for Our Lord and Our Lady! The OEF uses the spirituality, writings and rules of the Franciscans, the Carmelites, the Benedictines, the Carthusians and the charismatic Covenant Communities blended together.
