Oscar Omar Garcia was born on February 16, 1973 to Amanda Herrera and Oscar Garcia in New York City. He grew up with his older sister Ana and his younger brother Robert in Harlem. He graduated from Julia Richmond High School and attended Hunter College in New York where he made many genuine friendships and left lasting impressions on everyone he met.
